No Way Out
The world is all right. We humans, our egos, make it a mess.
There is a rather fatal error in the way our mind works. We should and could fix it, but we don't.
Thinking is the root cause of our troubles. This is not how we normally see this. Most people regard thinking as a solution. We don't seem to see what thinking actually is and does; how it dominates our lives. It is our master, our reality, our truth.
There is a direct line between our thoughts and the world. When we think of ourselves, we draw the line between me and the world as two entities: there is a me inside us observing the world outside.
With a closer look, we could see that all this is one movement. Our ego does not see this. Self is the essence of our being. It has a past and a future, so it seems to live in time.
What we miss is seeing how all this is connected. We actually share the world we all live in. It is our thinking that draws the lines between persons, groups, cultures, societies, and inanimate things. Yet we don't see that they are all our own making.
Thinking has a place, but in the psychological world it causes self-deception. Our minds live in two worlds: one is actual and the other imagined.
There is an easy way out of this dilemma. Focusing on facts changes the brain cells. Then we are connected to the world, not to the image of it. When there is no sense of self, there is no separation, and we are the world.
This is not a trick; it is not playing with words. When we see that ego is a creation of the mind, we no longer ask the way out. Then our mind is the link to the miracle of life.
I made a summary of key points (below) and also a short video on YouTube to show how I see all this.
